Our Adult Beef dry food has been prepared with FSG (Fleischsaftgarung). FSG is a method of preparing fresh meat. It comes from the kitchen rather than the feed industry. It was modelled on techniques that top chefs often use to prepare meat, in a tastier and also healthier way.
With FSG (Fleischsaftgarung), fresh meat is cooked in a vacuum at low temperature, using only its own meat juices. After a long cooking time, during which the moisture of the meat juice is slowly reduced, this dry food is created.
The dry food Adult Beef prepared with FSG (Fleischsaftgarung) is primarily cooked meat which means following for your dog:
- extra tasty,
- as nutritious as BARF,
- excellent for building muscle,
- quickly digestible,
- effectively absorbed and
- chewable-soft due to the meat juice.
Our dry food also reduces the risk of gastric torsion because it does not swell in the stomach.

Food change
We recommend an immediate change of dog food without a transitional phase. Due to the differences in digestibility, mixing PLATINUM Dry Food with another dry food is not advisable.

Luke has had stomach problems since he was a puppy. Even changing over to well-known food types has not helped. I heard about PLATINUM from a friend, but I was very sceptical initially. Wally came to us when he was nine weeks old. For the first four weeks, he was fed the food he received from the breeder. However, we were not satisfied, and our little darling didn't like it at all and in the end, he did not want to touch it. We spent several days researching high-quality dry food brands, and finally we settled on Puppy Chicken from PLATINUM. As soon as we opened the bag, we were impressed by the consistency and smell of the food. Wally felt the same way, because he was bouncing up and down and could hardly wait to try it. He absolutely loves it. He almost inhaled the food, which was very unlike him. After just a week, we began to notice changes. Before, he would have very soft faeces 8-10 times a day. Uno is a playful and lively fox terrier. Food isn’t just about nutrition for him, he loves his treats. If you want to offer your dog some variety, you can easily switch between all PLATINUM foods. If your dog has a sensitive stomach, please contact our customer service for advice on feeding.
It does not matter whether you give wet food in the morning and dry food in the evening, or vice versa. A combination of wet and dry food in one meal is also possible, as both forms of feeding have the same digestibility with PLATINUM.
Every dog is descended from the wolf, and the digestive tract is designed for the consumption of meat. Our dry food and wet food are designed to be easily consumed by all dogs — from Chihuahuas to Great Danes — and meet the needs of all breeds equally. Different sizes of dry food and wet food make it easier to portion out the food. The recipe and composition remain identical in all sizes to ensure consistent quality and optimum nutrition.
Compared to conventional dry food, which is mainly made from meat meal, dog food prepared with FSG requires at least 70% fresh meat (muscle meat) to make PLATINUM dry food. There is a big difference between meat meal and fresh meat. Compared to fresh meat, meat meal is significantly inferior, as it is only produced after repeated heating under high pressure. As a result, meat meal has fewer nutrients, a higher ash content and lower protein digestibility than fresh meat. We know from cooking that meat juices and meat fat are what make a roast dinner a treat — which is why we don't prepare our Sunday roast with meat meal. Thanks to the process of cooking with FSG, PLATINUM dry food is completely free from attractants, flavourings, colourings, odours, and flavour enhancers.
Healthy senior dogs can continue to be fed with PLATINUM, as our food is very easy to digest and the ingredients it contains are of very high quality. Please note, however, that a dog's metabolism decreases with age and the amount of food should be reduced if necessary.

We recommend an immediate change in dog food without a transition phase. Due to the different digestibility, it is not recomendable to mix PLATINUM dry food with any other dry food.
No, you can rely on the fact that no animal experiments are done for the product development and production of our food and care products - neither by us, nor by any other third party.
In principle, a change is possible at any time. Different varieties can also be fed on the same day. However, we recommend feeding the opened bag first. In addition a selection in the bowl should be avoided, especially during the change phase to Platinum or if there are known intolerances.
The dry food can be kept unopened or opened after production for 18 months until the best-before date. The wet food can be kept unopened for 36 months and can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days after opening.
