It contains fresh meat’s natural micronutrients and amino acids, making MeatCrisp a better substitute for a cat’s natural prey than most commercial cat foods. If you feed your cat MeatCrisp, it will feel more stable and relaxed and thus happier. The crispy bite and meaty taste of MeatCrisp make it so delicious that your cat won’t want to eat anything else. MeatCrisp does not contain any attractants.

Food change
Since cats are very picky, it is recommended to change the food slowly, over several days. In the beginning, only a few kibbles should be mixed with the familiar dry food, to get the cat used to the new smell and taste. This amount can be gradually increased over the next few days. After about a week, the cat will usually be used to the new food.
If your cat still refuses the food, go back to the familiar food and try the change in smaller steps. Please do not let your cat go hungry under any circumstances, as this can be life-threatening for your cat.

FAQ
MeatCrisp can be kept unopened or opened for up to 18 months after production, and should be stored in a dry place and in the original bag. All information on the minimum shelf life of PLATINUM dry food can also be found on the product packaging.
To avoid loss of flavour, please store MeatCrisp in the original bag. The integrated hook-and-loop fastener allows it to be easily and securely closed again and again in an airtight manner.
To avoid contamination with parasites or germs, we advise against decanting into other containers.
If you switch from wet food to PLATINUM dry food, it is normal for your dog to require more liquid. Although PLATINUM dry food still has a high residual moisture content, it obviously does not contain as much moisture as wet food. It is therefore important that you always provide your four-legged friend with sufficient water.
In general, your dog's drinking behaviour may change temporarily during the transition. If you notice any abnormalities in terms of fluid intake, and you require advice, please contact our customer service.
PLATINUM MeatCrisp is a complete dry food for your cat, which provides the right nutrient composition for the cat's organism. Of course, you can continue to offer your cat wet food in a separate bowl if desired. In our experience, it is not advisable to mix dry food with wet food, as this is often not accepted by cats. For food-sensitive cats, however, the compositions of dry and wet food should not differ too much. In particular, the protein sources (e.g. chicken) should be as identical as possible.
Several small meals a day are best for cats. However, you should decide on an individual basis how many meals your cat needs per day according to its eating habits. You should never offer more than one daily ration per day. For cats that divide their portion themselves, it is possible to refill the daily ration once a day. However, cats that always eat their portions directly should be given several smaller meals per day.
Feeding from automatic feeders is also possible and MeatCrisp is ideal for this.
A balanced diet is essential for a puppy to develop into a healthy adult dog. That's why our Puppy Chicken (Mini) only contains ingredients that are important for healthy development, and does not contain additives such as green-lipped mussel extract. A puppy's body is not just growing physically — it is also in a learning phase. Among other things, one of the most important substances from the green-lipped mussel is produced by the dog's own body. In order not to interfere with this production, we refrain from providing additional green-lipped mussel extract or other supplements in the first three months of life. These are valuable ingredients for an adult dog, which is why they are included in our Adult Chicken (Mini) dry food.
Taurine is an essential amino acid for cats. This means that the cat cannot produce this amino acid itself and must take it in with the food. The amount of taurine contained in MeatCrisp meets the needs of a healthy cat.
Neutering a cat is also associated with a change in hormones, which is why your cat's metabolism changes and can lead to obesity. Being overweight can lead to serious secondary diseases, which is why regular weight monitoring is advisable. If your cat tends to be overweight or needs to lose weight, regardless of the cause, it is usually not enough simply to reduce the amount of food they eat - as you will also be reducing important nutrients. A lower-calorie food such as MeatCrisp Sterilised is suitable for this.
