Our dry food* has been prepared with FSG (Fleischsaftgarung). FSG is a method of preparing fresh meat. It comes from the kitchen rather than the feed industry. It was modelled on techniques that top chefs often use to prepare meat, in a tastier and also healthier way.
With FSG (Fleischsaftgarung), fresh meat is cooked in a vacuum at low temperature, using only its own meat juices. After a long cooking time, during which the moisture of the meat juice is slowly reduced, this dry food is created.
The dry food prepared with FSG (Fleischsaftgarung) is primarily cooked meat which means following for your dog:
extra tasty,
as nutritious as BARF,
excellent for building muscle,
quickly digestible,
effectively absorbed and
chewable-soft due to the meat juice.
Our dry food also reduces the risk of gastric torsion because it does not swell in the stomach.
Safe and honest For you, we have our dry food tested regularly and independently by one of the most renowned test centres in Germany, ELAB Analytik GmbH (formerly TÜV SÜD ELAB). What is tested:
Our fresh meat content: Checking recipe compliance at the point of preparation
For contaminants, to protect the health of your best friend
Our declaration
* Our dry dog food prepared with FSG has a new, elegant design, although the preparation method and recipe remain unchanged, of course! However, in order to be environmentally conscious, we are not disposing of the remainder of the previously used pouches, but are of course using them up. The innovative new pouches will therefore gradually replace the old ones - starting with Adult Chicken. The other varieties and packaging sizes will also be gradually replaced
Food change We recommend an immediate change of dog food without a transitional phase. Due to the differences in digestibility, mixing PLATINUM Dry Food with another dry food is not advisable.
Please note the following points when feeding:
Serve dry or slightly moistened with water.
Do not let the food soak for a long time, serve immediately.
Always provide your dog with fresh water.
Initially please feed using the lower recommended amount, only serve more if required.

Our experience reports
We have been using PLATINUM wet and dry dog food since we got our dog in 2015. No matter what flavour, she enjoys eating it and tolerates it very well.
Many people notice that Sally has a beautiful shiny coat
and I think this is mainly due to her diet.
We usually add a little “sauce” from the wet food to the dry food, which she really loves :)

I have been using PLATINUM for several years. I wanted to change over to completely grain-free dry food, but I reverted regretfully. No other food made his skin and coat as beautiful as PLATINUM Chicken. Our Benny shines, does not smell, doesn't have dandruff and his output is also okay.
I remain impressed by Platinum
and hope that this high-quality food will be around for a long time. Another big plus for me is the really fast delivery. I can't remember ever having waited longer than 3 days.

I have to say that I am really happy with the food, and I cannot stop recommending it to friends and acquaintances for their dogs. Maddox is now over five years old, and since we switched away from puppy food, he has only eaten PLATINUM food.
Every time he sees his food, he gets excited like a little puppy and eats the whole bowl.
So, no other food comes into my house. I trust the quality ingredients. For variety, I always order the 3 x 5 kg pack.

Luke has had stomach problems since he was a puppy. Even changing over to well-known food types has not helped. I heard about PLATINUM from a friend, but I was very sceptical initially. As with all recommendations, I did some thorough research first, but I was quickly convinced by the many positive customer reviews and the excellent composition of the food. Ordering and delivery were both very quick. I immediately switched Luke to PLATINUM and after 4 days he was feeling better than ever.
No more stomach problems
and he was much better in general. I definitely won’t change again, and my next dog will also get PLATINUM.

We always buy the Beef+Potato dry food, and we are very happy with it. Luna loves the food and throws herself at it.
Since we’ve been feeding her PLATINUM, she hasn’t had any anal gland problems.
It took a long time, but by trying different dog food samples, we found the right food.
If you want to offer your dog some variety, you can easily switch between all PLATINUM foods. If your dog has a sensitive stomach, please contact our customer service for advice on feeding.
It does not matter whether you give wet food in the morning and dry food in the evening, or vice versa. A combination of wet and dry food in one meal is also possible, as both forms of feeding have the same digestibility with PLATINUM.
Every dog is descended from the wolf, and the digestive tract is designed for the consumption of meat. Our dry food and wet food are designed to be easily consumed by all dogs — from Chihuahuas to Great Danes — and meet the needs of all breeds equally. Different sizes of dry food and wet food make it easier to portion out the food. The recipe and composition remain identical in all sizes to ensure consistent quality and optimum nutrition.
Compared to conventional dry food, which is mainly made from meat meal, dog food prepared with FSG requires at least 70% fresh meat (muscle meat) to make PLATINUM dry food. There is a big difference between meat meal and fresh meat. Compared to fresh meat, meat meal is significantly inferior, as it is only produced after repeated heating under high pressure. As a result, meat meal has fewer nutrients, a higher ash content and lower protein digestibility than fresh meat. We know from cooking that meat juices and meat fat are what make a roast dinner a treat — which is why we don't prepare our Sunday roast with meat meal. Thanks to the process of cooking with FSG, PLATINUM dry food is completely free from attractants, flavourings, colourings, odours, and flavour enhancers.
Healthy senior dogs can continue to be fed with PLATINUM, as our food is very easy to digest and the ingredients it contains are of very high quality. Please note, however, that a dog's metabolism decreases with age and the amount of food should be reduced if necessary.
If your dog is diagnosed with a disease in old age, we recommend an individual consultation with our customer service.
We recommend an immediate change in dog food without a transition phase. Due to the different digestibility, it is not recomendable to mix PLATINUM dry food with any other dry food.
No, you can rely on the fact that no animal experiments are done for the product development and production of our food and care products - neither by us, nor by any other third party.
Whether you give your dog Adult Chicken (Mini), Adult Beef (Mini), Adult Lamb (Mini) or Adult Iberico (Mini) depends on your dog's preferences and which flavours they like best. Of course, you can also switch between the three flavours as you wish. Your dog will be optimally supplied with all the nutrients, vitamins and minerals they need with each of our food varieties. We offer smaller kibbles for dogs up to 10 kg with our "Mini" variants.
In principle, a change is possible at any time. Different varieties can also be fed on the same day. However, we recommend feeding the opened bag first. In addition a selection in the bowl should be avoided, especially during the change phase to Platinum or if there are known intolerances.
The dry food can be kept unopened or opened after production for 18 months until the best-before date. The wet food can be kept unopened for 36 months and can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days after opening.
All information regarding the minimum shelf life of unopened PLATINUM food can also be found on the product packaging.
